Mike Conley has joined Club Car as the strategic account manager of its industrial rental division, bringing 20 years’ rental industry experience to the company.
Before accepting the position in Club Car, Conley was working as national accounts manager for rentals at BOMAG Americas, mainly with ground-engaging equipment.
As one of the most respected names in the golf industry, Club Car is the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles. As part of Ingersoll Rand, Club Car has over 50 years’ legacy of superior design, manufacture and service. The company’s Precedent® golf cars, exclusive Visage Mobile Golf Information System, and Carryall® turf utility vehicles are integral to successful operations at thousands of courses around the world. Besides, Club Car also offers street-legal, low speed vehicles (LSVs) for personal and commercial use.
Moreover, its rental products and services were recently recognized by Rental Magazine, a nationally known publication that has served equipment rental professionals for 38 years. Rental Magazine has awarded Club Car’s rental-ready Carryall® utility vehicles a 2016 Editor’s Choice Award, thanks to the innovation, versatility and profit potential of the vehicle.
“ I believe in Club Car’s products and in the company’s dedication to innovation within the rental industry. They have worked to identify the problems rental houses face and provide the transportation solutions the industry needs. I look forward to continuing those initiatives.” says Mike Conley.
According to Jeff Miller, Director of Sales, Global Strategic Accounts and Custom Solutions, Conley has so deep understanding to the needs of national and independent rental houses that he will be very helpful to Club Car. Miller says, “by bringing on board employees like Mike, who know the industry from the inside out, Club Car is showing its commitment to the rental industry .”
Club Car operates the industry’s only Dedicated Rental Support Team. The team acts as a single point of contact, troubleshoots issues remotely and on site, speeds service and parts delivery, as well as hosts regional and on-site training. Mr. Conley’s employment will undoubtedly deepen and expand its current rental infrastructure.
