I have checked Micro switches at back of F/R switch and all good.
All wiring good at F/R switch.
Have stripped F/R switch and polished all contacts.
Still no reverse.
Clicking from solenoid when throttle engaged.
Buzzer sounds when put in astern.

All is well with the forward side of things.

It was the v-glide which I had pulled apart and cleaned up.

Found if I put my foot hard down I got the symptons as described - however if I pushed the pedal down slow at a certain point just before hard down she would go in reverse.

I had a spare v-glide so installed that and all good now.
