I have a 1980 Club car, I'm new to the cart world, I have 6 good batteries, one new micro switch, the spring was not springing. One new coil, the first one on drivers side, all connections cleaned and tight. when I drive it for 100 yards I smell something hot and can feel heat coming from the coils.
I'll try tapping the coil/ solenoid, any other ideas ?
