Hi again I have a 1978 electric Ezgo Marathon golf cart which previous owner installed tail lights on but were not working because they micky moused installation. The brake micro switch which is attached to the brake pedal has a green wire and a brown wire which goes to the tail lights and a single yellow wire coming back out of tail lights , I took the green wire and installed on positive side of a battery on the right bank of battery's and the yellow wire on the negative side of another battery on the opposite side of the bank of 3 battery's and the brake light work's now . How do I get the tail lights to work ? I installed a set of head lights for this cart with a light switch with a relay switch and fuse. and they work fine. Can I somehow get power to the tail lights with using the headlight switch so they come on when the switch is turned on? The wiring they did on this cart is really messed up . I've owned this cart for over 6 yrs now and now the granddaughers are old enough to drive it around I just thought it would be nice to have lights on it since its getting to be winter and they drive it on our street and cul-da -sak .
