I read in the forums that the ITS should be 5000 ohms with leads off and vary between 0 - 5k. Mine is 5 mega ohms and a friend has a new one in the box and it reads 5 mega ohms. Both do not vary when the core magnet is inserted. How do I check this sensor?
Also, all the wiring, micro switches, F/R block contacts and the motor's armature brushes and stator windings read fine. Batteries are new and have a full charge and the cables are good.
If this inductive throttle sensor is not bad then I'm leaning towards the controller being bad.
Can you suggest any checks I can do?
