Tryin to fix my 91 gas cart. It sit up for the winter and when i tried to start it it smokes real bad, and gas runs out the front of the carb. I thought the carb. was dirty, mainly the needle and seat, so i took it apart, cleaned everything, check the float for holes and adjustment with the same results. Got tired of messing with it so I just got a new carb and put on it, SAME RESULTS! started reading around some and heres what ive done so far. Just changed the oil and its not overfull. replaced all the fuel lines and filter. it has good compression, and it is firing good and new plug. If you hold it to the floor it will run about half throttle real bad and smoke something terrible. wont get any rpms and wont idle at all. I dont want to keep guessing and replacing parts i dont need. what would be the right thing to look at? Thanks in advance for any help. Its a 01 club carb with im told a kawasaki engine. And if you take the fuel line off the pump end and hold it up high all the gas in the line will drain and run out the front of the carb. like the float just refuses to shut off the flow of gas. I really dont get it?
