I have (I think 2002) Electric Club car will not go F or R solenoid does not click. Would like to know how to test solenoid. I have a long background in Automotive nothing on electric golf carts. Thanks.

Is this a PDS or Series cart?

What's your total battery pack voltage?

All connections are clean and tight?

Are you getting power to the small posts on the solenoid when you press the pedal?

If not I'd check the micro switch in the throttle box located under the floor mat on the drivers side.

If the micro is good check the key switch.
