I also am working on an 01 Club Car DS regen cart that will not move.
The battery voltage is good, 50+ volts.
The solenoid is picking up from the switch on the pedal, and is conducting.
The 3 twenty amp fuses are good.
The reverse buzzer and all lights work.
I did find a bent brake switch and repaired it, so the brake lights now work.
The Tow switch causes the braking to engage and disengage.
There is 50 volts to negative battery ground) on both sides of the armature (large power) motor connections when the solenoid is picked up; 49 volts before it picks up - no voltage difference across the contacts.
The field contacts on the motor go from 0 volts with the pedal not depressed, to 4 volts when the pedal is depressed.
I am not familiar with any golf cart, but know my way around a voltmeter, diesel and gas trucks, tractors and cars.
After finding a schematic that looks close (it's for a 2005-2006 system but looks closer to what is on this cart than anything else I have found), my next move would seem to be to check out the go pedal rheostat.
If anyone has any advice or input, I would welcome it.
